EARTH SHATTERING ORGASMS FOR WOMEN – DO THEY REALLY NEED THEM?

There are many mysteries around the female orgasm, and indeed it is not as easy for women to achieve their orgasms as it is for men. At times, it leads to serious conviction in the belief that the female orgasm is certainly a myth, and has been perpetrated only to create a kind of gender equality between man and woman. After all if a man has an orgasm, why shouldn’t a woman? That could really be a viable theory, considering the fact that women do not actually 'need' an orgasm. In men, orgasm serves the biological purpose of the ejaculation of sperm, but in woman, there is no fathomable biological purpose at all. Women can give birth to children even without ever experiencing an orgasm. However, since sex is not just about giving birth, it is necessary to tackle the issue of female orgasm delicately and make a good study on it.

Even sex experts shy away from giving a direct answer on the topic of female orgasms. Either their answers are about how the female orgasm is more of psychological thing than a bodily thing, or their answers would be misleading litanies about women being complicated beings with several mental upheavals like mood swings, depressions and internal conflicts that do not let them peak during the sexual act.

That is the reason why women are bigger buyers of all kinds of sexual devices such as dildos and vibrators. Their need for achieving orgasms is quite high, and the frustration may build it up to higher levels. Having said that, it is necessary to point out that a majority of women would prefer good old-fashioned sex with a partner they love, even though they do not get their orgasm in the act. Mechanical devices of giving pleasure can easily get a backseat where women's innermost desires are concerned. That is enough grist to build up the theory that women want love; they do not mind not having an orgasm at all.

The basic purpose of sex should be to strengthen relationships, and it doesn’t matter – even for the woman involved – if she gets no orgasm through the act. Women cannot will their orgasms like men can. If they begin doing that, the possibility of the orgasm goes much further from them. In conclusion, it is not necessary to make a competition out of the sexual act and see who gets the better orgasm. In most cases, women would remain quite happy without peaking at all, if they have the assurance that their partner really loves having sex with them.
